Project

The BAM Marketing Congress attracts each year more than a thousand marketers. This year the Congress was organised at Brussels Gate, an event venue near Brussels in Groot-Bijgaarden.

Marketers, agencies and other interested parties enjoyed the inspiring eye-opening talks and learned best practices and business cases from 60 experts on 4 different stages. In the cosy Market Village, professionals could meet and expand their network. During the breaks they could discover the best marketing solutions on the market thanks to a wide range of strong partners/exhibitors.

Solutions

The entire organisation of the Marketing Congress was entrusted to OFCORES by BAM - the Belgian Association of Marketing. The development of the event concept, the construction of the stages and the Marketing Village, the keynote speaker management, the search and follow-up of the partners, the provision of the necessary technical know-how,...  Even the entire communication and promotion plan was outsourced to OFCORES.

The Congress theme and the selection of speakers were done in consultation with the marketing federation. The theme "Embrace Uncertainty" with its cheerful purple and orange colors was integrated into all event aspects.

OFCORES also faced an additional challenge this year: the organisation of a sustainable congress. Client BAM carries sustainability high in all its activities and marketing and this edition had to be a sustainable one. OFCORES took care of this in all event aspects and ensured that the 50 to 60 suppliers and partners were on the same page in this regard.

Results

Last year's edition of the congress was postponed by Corona, so we had 2 congresses in the same year: one in spring and the official edition in December. It was quite a challenge in terms of keynotes, partners and participants. But OFCORES managed to fill 4 stages with more than 60 inspiring speakers. There was something for everyone: marketing technology, diversity & inclusion, sustainability, influencer marketing, content marketing, but also a lot of impressive cases and sometimes surprising speakers and ditto stories...

The cosy Marketing Village invited the 1,349 visitors to enjoy snacks and drinks, networking and the opportunity to discover interesting marketing tools and services at the partners' booths. Participants could also count on a high-quality walking buffet.

The echoes after the congress were unanimously positive. The usually critical marketing audience gave us an overall satisfaction score and an intend to recommend of 8 out of 10! No wonder that BAM gave us already the confidence to organize the 42nd edition on 7 and 8 December 2023!
