Her focus is always on customer satisfaction, implementing skilled solutions behind the scenes to produce seamless events. Outside of work, Sofie appreciates good food and wine, traveling and exploring new locations with her family.
James
Meet James
Partner and Managing Director of Forum Europe, James has 20 years of experience specialising in conceiving, marketing and organizing conferences in Brussels that cover political and public affairs. Alongside overall management and strategy responsibilities, James leads on a number of major projects. This currently includes the events component of the EU-US Trade and Technology Dialogue (linked to the Trade and Technology Council).

As Partner and Managing Director, Dan is jointly responsible (alongside James Wilmott) for the overall strategic and operational management of Forum Europe.
His role includes a large focus on content and programme development, as well as on developing and strengthening relations with policymakers and industry stakeholders both within Europe and globally.

Jo has been working in the event industry since 2005 with a proven track record in driving success for immersive experiences, exhibitions, trade show & events and a passion for Technology.
They sometimes call him a jack of all trades. He is passionately curious and a team player. Great things are never done by one person, they’re done by a team of people!
Bianca
Meet Bianca
Bianca’s creativity, curiosity and sense of organisation led her naturally to studies in event management. After her Bachelor, she left for a year abroad, willing to learn new cultures and languages. She has gained experience in hospitality and event management in various jobs and positions. She is very passionate about her job and focuses on fulfilling clients’ needs and objectives. Besides that, Bianca’s hobbies are travelling, meeting new people, sports, friends and family.
Fanny
MEET Fanny
After studying law, Fanny supported companies in finding solutions to their disputes through mediation. Her problem-solving skills, attention to detail and passion for events led her to evolve in the communications and events sector. In 2017, she started her own company and since then has provided event management and communications services for companies and consultancies in Brussels. She is always ready for a challenge and always looks at the glass as half full.
Brendan Kerremans
Introducing Brendan: from legal consultant to event manager, his journey underscores his adaptability and commitment to crafting unforgettable moments. Following studies in event management in Sydney, he refined his expertise as a venue manager in a vibrant London bar. Outside work, Brendan's passions range from travel to indoor football and cinema. As a devoted DJ, his love for music pervades every aspect of his life, infusing each moment with dynamic rhythm and boundless energy.

With a background in business management, Glenn started his professional career at the OFCORES offices. Every day presents new opportunities for him to expand his knowledge and skills and grow in his role.
Outside of work, He is a passionate sports enthusiast. He enjoys watching and playing a variety of different sports. In his free time, he also likes to spend time with his family and friends.
Giulia

Having moved from Italy to Brussels for a Master's Degree in multilingual communication and multiculturalism, Giulia completed an internship with OFCORES during this time, sparking her interest in event management. Now graduated, Giulia joined OFCORES as an Event Executive to further her knowledge of the events world. Beyond her professional skills, Giulia, true to her Italian roots, has a passion for all things food, music, and dance.

Introducing Zenzé, a hard working student from AP university, Antwerp – Hospitality Management, currently part of our team as an intern. With a big heart for organizing, she will put her knowledge into practice during her internship. With her positivity, she always manages to put a smile on everyone's face. Zenzé enjoys being creative and being inspired by the world and the different cultures around her.
Anne-Lise
MEET ANNE-LISE
Anne-Lise is a Director and Head of Event Planning and Coordination at Forum Europe.
She is responsible for the production of several key Brussels-based and global events and supervises the team in charge of delivering the company’s own-initiated EU policy events. As part of her role she is also responsible for the strategic planning of the company's conferences across different teams.
Anne-Lise manages the delivery of her own portfolio of conferences, including major Forum Europe conferences on data protection and privacy, and cyber security.
Charlene
Meet Charlene
Charlene is a Director and heads up the Event Management team at Forum Europe, coordinating the delivery of client events inside and outside of Europe.
She works across a variety of sectors, including financial services, health and technology. In 2018, Charlene ran the meeting of the ICDPPC (International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners) and associated week of events in Brussels to much acclaim, and she is responsible for Forum Europe's annual Financial Services Conference, now in its 20th year.
Anna
Meet Anna
As Lead Senior Event Manager at Forum Europe, Anna manages the delivery of client-orientated events taking place in Europe and beyond.
Anna started with Forum Europe in 2018, assisting in organising many of Forum Europe’s own annual events which took place mainly in Brussels and Washington DC, before moving across to client events in 2020.
Anna graduated from Cardiff University in 2018 with a Journalism and Media degree. As part of her course she completed internships in marketing and events.
Jordan
MEET Jordan
Jordan leads the Global Spectrum Series team at Forum Europe, focusing on the management of events, sponsor recruitment and liaison, and wider strategic planning.
Jordan initially joined the company in 2016 on a 10-month placement as part of his Business and Human Resources Management course at the University of the West of England. After returning to university and successfully completing his studies, Jordan rejoined Forum Europe on a full-time basis in 2018.
Hannah
Meet Hannah
Hannah’s role at Forum Europe sees her project managing the delivery of several client-oriented events which take place inside and outside of Europe.
Hannah works on events ranging from a one-day meeting to a full week of conferences, social events and entertainment.
Andrea
Meet Andrea
Andrea is a Senior Event Manager at Forum Europe responsible for co-ordinating and managing the delivery of events for the EU-US Trade and Technology Dialogue.
Kate
MEET KATE
Kate works as a Senior Event Manager at Forum Europe, co-ordinating the delivery of events as part of the Global Spectrum Series team.
Kate graduated in 2016 with a First-Class Honours in French and Philosophy, and lived in France for a year teaching English as part of her course. She joined the Forum Europe team initially in 2017 until 2019, before re-joining the team in 2020.
In her spare time, Kate loves exploring new places and has travelled extensively across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
Lula
As a Senior Event Manager at Forum Europe, Lula manages and co-ordinates the delivery of events, working closely with the company Directors on strategic planning.
Her role takes her around the world as part of the Forum Global team, and since joining in 2016 she has quickly developed a leadership role within the company and a strong reputation within the wider spectrum community for her project management skills. Lula graduated in 2015 with a degree in History from the University of Southampton.
Bethan
MEET BETHAN
Bethan is responsible for the day to day running of the Head Office of Forum Europe, overseeing the administrative functions of the business, as well as providing support to the Directors and Event Managers.
Prior to working at Forum Europe, Bethan worked in Law as a Legal Secretary in Cardiff. Bethan graduated with a BA (Hons) in English from Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2012.
In her free time, Bethan enjoys walking, baking & travelling.
Karolina
MEET KAROLINA
As an event manager, Karolina works closely with the company directors and senior management on developing Forum Europe's own-initiative events.
Karolina has 14 years’ experience within customer services across varied industries. Her journey with events started when she was recruited by OneWeb to manage their London office as a Facilities Coordinator and later given the opportunity to independently run their conference presence at various Space Expos in Europe and the US. During the pandemic, she supported NHS Blood and Transplant.
Lorena
Meet Lorena
Lorena works as an Event Manager at Forum Europe, coordinating the delivery of client events as part of the Event Management team.
Lorena, who is originally from Oviedo in Spain, has worked for years in music festivals and International Sports events for clients like UEFA, the Football Association of Wales, and Nitro Circus. Most recently she worked as Events Officer at a leading University.
Sophie

As an Event Manager, Sophie works on client events across a variety of sectors.
Sophie graduated from Swansea University with a masters degree in International Security and Development. Sophie has worked in project management roles in a number of industries, and outside of work she likes to keep active and enjoys trips abroad as well as traveling the UK in her mini VW campervan.

Dan grew up in West Sussex, England. He started life in the events industry in 2009 while studying Live & Studio Sound at university. Dan has over 10 years of experience in producing corporate events, having focused heavily on live events, conferencing and team building.
Melanie Thomas
Mel is an Event Manager at Forum Europe working in the team to develop our own-initiative events.
Most recently, Mel worked as the Events Operations Manager where she organised a series of street food festivals as well as providing event management for clients including Christmas at Bute Park, Adventure Cinema and Tough Mudder.
Grace
Meet Grace
Grace works as an Event Manager at Forum Europe, coordinating the delivery of events as part of the Event Management team.
Grace graduated from Bath Spa University with a degree in Dance, however, quickly took a turn in her career when she got into events. Grace has worked extensively in-house within venues working on a range of events from residential conferences to large awards ceremonies.
Claudia
Meet Claudia
Claudia works in the Event Management team supporting client events.
Claudia has a bachelor’s degree in Event Management from the University of East London and graduated from the University of Greenwich with a master’s degree in International Events Management.
Claudia has worked on various events across different sectors such as high-end private events, exhibitions, and sporting and music events like London’s Formula E, Soundstorm22 Riyadh, London Marathon, and Henley Royal Regatta. She speaks English, Czech, Italian, and Slovak.
Joshua
MEET JOSHUA
Josh works as an Event Executive on the Global Spectrum Series, providing logistical and operational support for the Spectrum team.
Josh comes from a live entertainment background with experience in a variety of production roles for festivals and touring shows, which took him touring internationally. Highlights include working as Assistant Production Manager on Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society’s street events team, and touring Europe with Nofit State Circus.
Ariana
Meet Ariana
As an Event Executive, Ariana works on the delivery of client events as part of the Event Management team.
Originally from Portugal, Ariana speaks Portuguese, Spanish and English. She has a Bachelor’s degree in European Studies from the University of Coimbra, and an MSc in Global Governance from the University of South Wales.
Outside of work, Ariana dedicates her personal time to musical theatre and dancing.
Hannah
MEET HANNAH
Hannah joined the Forum Europe team in 2021, and is involved in the logistical aspects and production of our hybrid and virtual events.
After graduating with a degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Birmingham, she spent a short spell working in a research laboratory and the NHS, but has recently made the venture into events management.
Alongside work, Hannah enjoys playing netball, and spends most of her free time training and playing across the UK.
Ariana
MEET ARIANA
Ariana is an Event Executive at Forum Europe, focusing on logistical and operational support for the Global Spectrum Series.
With a degree in International Hospitality & Events Management and experience working for Celebrity Cruise Lines and a Marriott Hotel, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role.
Ariana is bilingual in Portuguese and English, and also competent in Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, swimming, learning to surf and travelling.
Charlie
Charlie works as the Marketing and Communications Manager for the Global Spectrum Series, Charlie's role involves promoting events in the series as well as performing key event management tasks.
After graduating with a BSc Social Science from Cardiff University in 2019, Charlie began to specialise in marketing. Before joining Forum Europe, Charlie worked for a company using Virtual Reality in healthcare, as well as a start-up social enterprise.
Tamas

A creative problem solver with a strong interest in events, branding, graphic design, and filmmaking. Always seeking new and diverse experiences to expand his knowledge and skills, his passion is to use creativity to find innovative solutions and produce exceptional results in his work. When Tamas is not busy, he loves cooking up some tasty international dishes, flying drones, playing games, or just exploring new places and having fun!
Matt
MEET MATT
As a Marketing & Communications Executive at Forum Europe, Matt’s role has him supporting the Events Management team on building digital strategies and creating marketing material for our clients.
Prior to working for Forum Europe, Matt had studied Fine Art at university before finding an interest in digital marketing & social media management through his previous work in the hospitality sector.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys getting out to enjoy the countryside with his camera, cycling, painting and gaming.
Ieuan
MEET IEUAN
Ieuan is responsible for Forum Europe’s web development and technical operations. He has extensive experience in website development & maintenance and graduated with a First Class Honours in Computer Science from Cardiff University in 2020.
Originally from beautiful Pembrokeshire in West Wales, Ieuan previously worked as a software developer and as an R&D engineer in the telecoms industry.

Paul Adamson is chairman of Forum Europe and founder and editor of Encompass, an online magazine dedicated to covering the European Union and Europe's place in the world.
Paul is a member of the Centre for European Reform’s advisory board and Rand Europe's Council of Advisors. He is also a Visiting Professor at the Policy Institute, King’s College London, a patron of the University Association of Contemporary European Studies (UACES) and a Fellow of the UK Academy of Social Sciences.
