OFCORES helped organise BlueInvest Day 2021, a significant virtual event enabled by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund to boost innovation and investment in sustainable technologies for the Blue Economy.
From a pop-up TV studio in Brussels with live hosts, the event was broadcasted to over 1000 online participants throughout Europe. Attendees followed 3 expert panels comprised of high-level European Commission representatives, captains of industry and impact investors. Additionally, 20 top SMEs from the BlueInvest Community delivered live pitches for their innovative solutions to a panel of investors. A virtual ceremony followed, where BlueInvest Awards were conferred on the winners within each pitch category, as well as on the People’s Choice winner selected by the online audience.
Solutions
OFCORES provided expert virtual event services, including the design and management of an appealing online event platform, along with a virtual exhibition connecting Blue Economy funds and SME innovators. The services also included registration management, pop-up TV broadcast studio set-up, speakers support, event script creation, technical rehearsals coordination, and on-site management and live streaming.
