BlueInvest Day 2025

This year’s BlueInvest Day brought together 110 cutting-edge companies from around the world for one-on-one meetings with leading investors in the blue economy. A keynote address by the new Commissioner for Fisheries and Oceans, Costas Kadis, underscored 2025 as a pivotal year for the EU's Blue Economy, highlighting the Ocean Pact as a key step towards greater coherence in ocean-related policy and investment.
Twelve standout start-ups competed in the prestigious BlueInvest Awards, showcasing innovations in decarbonisation, sustainable ocean resources, smart marine technologies, and public impact — including seaweed-based bioproducts, brine purification systems, AI-driven weather analytics, and blockchain-verified plastic recovery. The programme was further enriched by presentations from five Blue Champion companies, each demonstrating pioneering solutions shaping the future of the sustainable blue economy.
Solutions
We were proud to once again deliver this flagship event in close collaboration with the European Commission. From start to finish, we provided end-to-end event management, ensuring a cohesive experience on-site and online.
We designed a fully branded environment at Sparks Brussels, with bespoke staging, intuitive wayfinding, and a custom event layout tailored for engagement. The Blue Innovation Exhibition was a key element, where 32 selected projects were brought to life in a curated space designed for interaction and discovery.
Our team coordinated the strategic event concept, oversaw all technical production and hybrid delivery, and managed all supplier and venue logistics. We supported the event with creative branding and signage, took care of all speaker and investor logistics, and facilitated both live streaming and online interaction through Slido. On-site, we managed guest services, catering, and exhibitor support, while also ensuring the event narrative was aligned with the broader European Ocean Days initiative.
Additionally, we delivered communication support through on-site photography, visual storytelling, and speaker preparation, helping amplify the event's reach beyond the venue.
