The European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) is an autonomous body of the European Union.The Gender Equality Index Conference 2017 provided a forum for around 300 decision-makers and practitioners to discuss the findings of the Gender Equality Index. They looked at recent trends and seek solutions to gender inequalities in the current political and economic context. The conference was held at the Council of the European Union in the Justus Lipsius building.

Results
